Lately, it's been intermittently losing the temp gauge while driving (points due south) then, when my wife gets home and turns off the key, the fan goes full-bore for about a minute before it turns off. Start it up, and it's fine again. Im nearing 156,000 ---. Im nearing 3000 miles on this oil change- and I have added 2 qts of oil.
