This one seems to cycle fine and the problem with easily cycling from the magazine to the chamber with the latch in front of the trigger seems to be corrected. Browning A-5 does not eject properly. 20 gauge Browning A-5 shotgun was recently serviced (cleaned) by gun shop, and since then does not eject spent shells (factory skeet/trap loads) regularly (30-50%). I have taken barrel, forearm, recoil spring, friction spring/bronze, and friction ring off and reassembled several times.It could be due to a weak carrier spring. Be sure to clean and lubricate the carrier’s pivot points. The Numrich carrier springs unavailable but you can try the Browning A5 springs. You may make your shotgun work better by switching its gas rings to high-quality brass. He said that to properly convert a 2 9/16" gun to 2 3/4" is more expensive than most of them are worth. If you had a high grade 2 9/16" gun, the conversion would wreck the value.
