Go into Mx player while playing and turn off subs. I'm having a similar problem and I think whoever uploaded the video I'm watching, uploaded it with subtitles, so there is no way for me to remove them. Same problem here :/. The most recent update to cinema removed the little cc icon that would turn them on and off.
