Tell me a little bit about why you're choosing a 9mm AK for home defense. I think kp9 is the most solid 9mm Ak you could get, mags are hard to come by, I had one but sold it because regular furniture doesn't fit, no mags back then and such but it's a good gun. Then that would make it a fun range toy.The two biggest issues with suppressing combloc AKs are. The gas tube is vented, meaning you're going to get some port pop regardless. the muzzle devices are often not concentric with the bore of the barrel, leading to baffle strikes unless you have a gunsmith re-thread the end of the barrel.
