The 500/590 is like a 4 door pickup, a versatile workhorse. Good for anything you throw at it. The benelli is more high end sports car. Something breaks you have to buy from the dealership. The fit and finish is excellent. The M4 has a free carrier that allows the chambered shell to be ejected while keeping a new shell from loading from the mag tube. That said, they're not priced the same. The M4 is 2.5X the price of the 930SPX and is not worth the extra money in my case.
