The DLC just allows for the BCG to move with less friction. Good idea about the gun grease. I’ll try that too. I noticed that my ARV runs like garbage without generous amounts of oil. The barrel length (8") includes the barrel extension in the measurement, unlike an ar barrel. I.e. an 8" 9mm is 8" from the end of muzzle to the end of the extension. an 8" ar15 barrel is about 8.5" in total length because the barrel extension is not included in the measurement.
