Sig 716i vs M5E1 general I had posted a couple days ago asking whether I should buy the Ruger SFAR or the Sig 716i and got tons of support mainly leading me to the Sig but I had a couple people recommend the Aero M5. So as the title says what is better. (I attached the link to the aero m5.I know the SFAR will have some teething problems, but Ruger have great customer service/support. Sig 716i heard good things, but also heard customer service/support sucks, and I have no clue on Aero because I don’t know much about them. The Aero and Sig have a 16-16.5in barrel and the SFAR have two options the 16in or the 20in barrel.

It's hard for me to make a quick follow up shot with that setup, but is rarely needed. It's recoil is more than the AR15 but seems way less than that of a bolt action. I ended up putting the Sig tango on it and have liked it very much.

I personally would like to add an SFAR to my 7.62 harem to have a nice lightweight 7.62 carbine but it wouldn't be the first rifle I chose in 7.62x51.The 716I provides a well built, durable, reliable and accurate platform that is not ammo or suppression picky, like many of the other AR-308/AR-10 type platforms in today's market.
