Tomorrow will be one week with the new Prodigy 1911 DS. I, almost literally, bought the gun out from under another customer. He had looked at the gun and seemed interested but was on the fence. I walked over and told the sales kid I'd take it. Anyway, many reviews i have read put the Stealth Arms Platypus on par (or better) than Staccato. A guy i shoot with weekly just got his yesterday and says its just as good as the Staccato’s he owns, (C2, CS and P). The kicker is the Platypus (the way i have it configured) is 800-1000 less than the C2.

I have an atlas NYX as well and got the prodigy as a project gun to customize. The slide to frame fit in a prodigy felt better than the staccato P once disconnector was polished, which btw slide to frame fit felt different every time I handled a different P at different LGS’s. Anything under 4k for a 2011 is a bargain nowadays.

To those not familiar, the "Stacc-Port" is an integral porting job that Vulcan Machine Werks has specifically developed for the Staccato line of 2011's.
